Yunsong Li received the M.S. degree in telecommunication and information systems and the Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from Xidian University, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He is currently a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Service Networks of Xidian University, where he advises MS and Ph.D. students. He has authored or coauthored over 50 scientific and technical publications.
Prof. Li currently serves as a Committee Member of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program and has been serving as a co-chair for the SPIE Conference on Satellite Data Compression since 2010. His research interests are in the fields of image and video compression and communications, remote sensing image processing, and high-performance computing in image processing.
