Chao-Kai Wen received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute
of Communications Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu,
Taiwan, R.O.C., in 2004. From 2005 to September 2006, he was with the
Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., as an
Engineer. From October 2006 to January 2009, he was with MediaTek
Inc., Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., where he was engaged in broadband digital
transceiver design. Since February 2009, he has been with the Institute of
Communications Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung,
Taiwan, R.O.C., where he is now an Associate Professor. His current research
interests center around the optimization in wireless multimedia networks and
multiuser detection problems.
