Hsuan-Ting Chang currently is Professor of Department of Electrical Engineering, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech). Dr. Chang was a visiting scholar in Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan, in EE department, University of Washington, Seattle USA, and in Medical Imaging Department, University of Arizona. Dr. Chang's interests include digital image/video analysis, optical information processing/computing, medical image processing, and human computer interface

Photonics and Information Lab aim to perform researches on two directions: (1) Optical signal/information processing - The specific topics include the optical image encryption and multiplexing methods, optical phase function extraction for generating the 3-D optical distribution based on laser illumination. (2) Medical image processing - specific topics include the computer-aided diagnosis algorithms for colonoscopy navigation and the detection of early stage gastric cancer, the correlation between the vascular networks in colonoscopic images and metabolic symptoms of patients.
