Jingliang Peng, Principal Investigator at Virtual Reality and Human Computer Interaction Center, School of Computer Science and Technology, Shandong University. He obtained a B.S. and an M.S. degree in computer science from Peking University in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and obtained a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Electrical Engineering Department, University of Southern California in 2006. After that, he worked as a software engineer in Digital Map Products, Inc. and as a senior software engineer in Qualcomm, Inc. for a few years. Since September 2009, he has been working as a professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology, Shandong University. His interest of research resides mainly in Digital Geometry Processing, Content-Based Multi-Media Data Retrieval, and Image Analysis & Understanding.
