Lab Director (or Principal Investigator)

KokSheik Wong received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics from Utah State University, USA, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In 2009, he received the Doctor of Engineering degree from Shinshu University, Japan, under the scholarship of Monbukagakusho. In 2010, he joined the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Malaysia, where he is currently a senior lecturer and he is a member of Centre of Image and Signal Processing (CISP). His research interests include information hiding, watermarking, perceptual encryption, multimedia signal processing, and their applications. Dr. Wong is a senior member of IEEE, and member of APSIPA and IIEEJ.


Lab Introduction

The Multimedia Signal Processing and Information Hiding (MSPIH) lab. was formed in 2010 at University of Malaya, Malaysia. Our research focuses mainly on:
(a) Information hiding in compressed multimedia content
(b) Perceptual encryption
(c) Compressed multimedia content processing
(d) Unification of information hiding and perceptual encryption
