Dr. Longbiao Wang received his B.E. degree from Fuzhou University, China, in 2000 and an M.E. and Dr. Eng. degree from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 2005 and 2008 respectively. From July 2000 to August 2002, he worked at the China Construction Bank. He was an assistant professor in the faculty of Engineering at Shizuoka University, Japan from April 2008 to September 2012. Since October 2013 he has been an associate professor at Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. His research interests include acoustic signal processing, robust speech recognition and speaker recognition.
Dr. Wang has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals and conference proceedings including IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, Speech Communication and ICASSP etc. He has served as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Speech Communication and ICPR etc. He received the "Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad" in 2008. He is a member of IEEE, the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) and the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ).
