Call for Tutorial Proposals

The tutorial sessions of the APSIPA ASC program are offered to keep the audience abreast of new and exciting areas of research in signal and information processing. These tutorials are intended to be timely, accessible, and free. The Program Committee of APSIPA ASC 2022 is now accepting proposals in all areas of signal and information processing.

Tutorial proposals will be reviewed and selected based on relevance, quality, value, timeliness, and novelty. Tutorials will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022.

Proposal Format

Each tutorial proposal should include the following information:

– Title of the tutorial

– Presenter’s name, contact information, short biography, and selected publications

– Abstract and duration, half-day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours), of the tutorial

– Importance and timeliness of the tutorial

– Outline of the tutorial and the material to be presented

– Previous tutorial experience and the audience size of each past tutorial

If you intend to propose a tutorial, please provide a proposal that includes the above information (in a form of MS Words, PDF, or Google Docs), and send it via email to one of the following APSIPA ASC 2022 Tutorial Chairs: Patiwet Wuttisarnwattana, KokSheik Wong, and Pornchai Phukpattaranont.

By submitting a proposal, the presenter(s) agree that if the proposal is accepted, the tutorial may be video-recorded for educational purposes per the APSIPA policy.

CONFERENCE FORMAT
The conference is planned to be in presence. However, if there are some travel restrictions for some authors at the time, we will allow them to upload their videos/poster (if any) for the oral/poster (if any) presentation. Also, the remote presentation will also be allowed if it is possible for the author’s time zone.
